Davis Cyclery has been in the zombies for years
The bike shop on F Street is behind the parade again in 2026. Zombies have been posing outside their window since long before this year.

Green Bicycle Depot let a horde inside the shop
The Olive Drive bike shop is with the festival in 2026. We have photographs of zombies both outside their door and in among the bikes.

The Discovery Family Fun Zone
Lawn games, face painting, LEGO car racing, art activities and more, filling the centre of the main field. Run by Discovery Christian Church.

The Spooky Jam Station
Pick up a percussion instrument and join an all-day Halloween jam led by PlayReady Music founder David Abramson. No experience needed, zombies encouraged.

Monster Run: the Laser Run Challenge
A Halloween laser run at Community Park, 8 to 10am on parade day. Running plus laser marksmanship, timed, free, all ages and abilities. Presented by Davis Fencing Academy.

360 Zombie Videos at the festival
Step into the middle of a 360 degree camera rig and come out with a slow motion video of yourself, mid-Halloween.

Night of the Posing Dead
A free photo from the City of Davis, and a chance to find out what else they run.

The Giant Zombies
Sac Zombie Club bring professional zombies to Community Park, including the ones on stilts. They are eight feet tall and they can run.

The Haunted Bounce Houses
Two free bounce houses all afternoon, paid for by Justin Lowenthal of Lowenthal APC.

Monster Arts and Crafts at the Davis Arts Center
The Davis Arts Center is open during the festival: monster arts and crafts, restrooms, and the zombie video game station inside.

The Davis Library Candy Station
The Davis Library hands out candy at Community Park, and keeps the branch open next door so you can use a real restroom and fill a water bottle.

Girl Scouts Troop 135 Treats
Troop 135 hand out treats all afternoon. Stop by and say hello.

The Primally Playful Fun Field
Several hundred balls, no rules, and a Davis nonprofit that treats play as the serious business it is.

Davis Local Vocals
Davis Local Vocals sing at Community Park through the afternoon. No band, no backing track, just voices, and the singers are named.

SwimAmerica's Spooky Seas
Candy, mermaids, and a swim school that has been teaching Davis children since 1998.

The Golf Mindz Chip Challenge
Chip a ball at a target in full costume. From a golf brand whose whole pitch is that muni counts as much as country club.

Halloween Hounds
The Yolo County SPCA brings adoptable dogs in costume to Community Park. They are all looking for homes. Yours is welcome to come and say hello.

The Halloween Rally Band
Brass, drums and no stage. Noise Violation have played this festival for seven years.

The Giant Octopus DJ Party
A DJ set under a giant inflatable octopus, run by DJ Mellax and Davis Rave Co.

The Dancing Dead
Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop bring the Dancing Dead to Community Park. A Davis dance institution since 1984, and one of this festival's longest-standing partners.

The Zombie Siege Game
A zombie-themed game of tag, run for six years running by Mason Harry of Anarchy Arts.

Complimentary Brain Juice at the halfway point
Free drinks at the halfway point, from a family who turned up uninvited in year one and never stopped.

Downtown Tom returns from the dead
Davis has wild turkeys. One of them terrorised downtown and made international news. Every October, Jay Schwerin brings him back.

The least glamorous donation we get, and one of the best
Recology has donated the festival's bins year after year. That saving is a real part of how the parade funds custom trikes for children with disabilities.
