Help Shape the Future of Active Transportation in Davis
The City of Davis is updating its Active Transportation Plan, a 10-year plan for walking, bicycling, rolling, using mobility devices and reaching transit stops and stations. Rolling means traveling on wheels, such as by wheelchair, scooter, skateboard, roller skates or another wheeled device.
The plan will recommend policies and identify a mapped, prioritized list of physical improvement projects in Davis and the surrounding planning area. Your input will help define the values, evaluation criteria, design guidance and project priorities that guide the plan.
Why the zombies care

Every rider in the Zombie Bike Parade counts on safe streets, bike lanes and good crossings. Davis already holds Platinum-level Bicycle Friendly Community status from the League of American Bicyclists, and the City is building this new plan with a Caltrans Sustainable Communities grant to replace its older bicycle action plan. This is your chance to tell them where you ride, where you walk, and where it still feels tricky.

GHD, the planning firm working with the City on the plan, will be at the booth too.
