We did it, Davis! The Zombie Bike Parade Festival has hit its $35,000 goal, and the final gift that got us over the line came from our friend Sterling Koliba of Edward Jones. 🧟♂️🎉
Sterling didn't just give. On festival day he was right there at the Halloween Train, volunteering along with Toys for Tots Yolo County, and he brought out fellow veterans from VFW Post 8151 and Marine Corps League Detachment #627 to help. Sterling served in the Marine Corps, the Air Force Reserve and the California National Guard, and he's still serving his community every chance he gets.
We are so happy that our financial advisor friend Sterling is this well connected in Davis, and that he knows how to make a real impact. Thanks to him and everyone who gave, this year we get to make our biggest donation ever to NorCal Trykers, who build adaptive trikes for local kids with disabilities. That brings our total to more than $60,000 over eight years.
Thank you, Sterling. You helped this horde cross the finish line! 🚲💚
