Ride the FREE Halloween train around Community Park all day, enjoy a little The Nightmare Before Christmas music and try to avoid any pesky zombies. Fun for all ages! Yolo County Supervisors Sheila Allen and Lucas Frerichs funded the train through the District 2 Community Benefit Fund, making every ride free.
Bring a gift for Toys for Tots
We’re filling the rear carriage with new, unwrapped gifts for families in need this Christmas. Any new, unwrapped toy for a child is welcome; gifts for teens are especially needed. Sterling Koliba and the Toys for Tots Yolo County team, with members of Marine Corps League Yolo County Detachment #627, will be volunteering at the station and helping accept gifts. We thank them for their service to our country and to our family-friendly horde.
Celebrate the Marine Corps birthday
Join Yolo County Marine Corps League Detachment #627 on Saturday, November 7, from 5 to 9pm at The Silo’s Event Center in Woodland. A $60 ticket includes dinner and nonalcoholic drinks; dinner for two is $120, with sponsorship and non-attendee support options too. Proceeds strengthen the local veteran community and Detachment #627’s Toys for Tots work.
