There is face painting at Community Park all afternoon. Find the table, join the queue, leave green.
It is run by Colorful Creations by Rina and Face Painting By Jana, who between them have painted this festival's faces for years.
A special word for Rina. She has been here for all eight years, every single festival since the first one in 2019. She helped make this thing possible, and a lot of the faces in the photographs on this website are her work.
Come as you are, or come already dead
You do not have to arrive in costume. Plenty of people turn up in ordinary clothes and let the paint do the work, which is exactly what this station is for. If you would rather do your own, do it at home and skip the queue.
One thing worth knowing: the face painters are working artists and some of them charge for their work. Bring a little cash if you are counting on being painted. Everything else at Community Park is free.
