NorCal Trykers' Mini Parade
A shorter parade at its own pace, for NorCal Trykers riders and their families, starting near Holmes Junior High.
The full Zombie Bike Parade is just under five miles at a normal biking pace, and that is not the right ride for everyone. The Mini Parade is the answer: a shorter route, ridden at whatever pace the riders want, for NorCal Trykers riders and their families.
It sets off from near Holmes Junior High, which is marked on this year's guide map, rather than from the start line at Community Park. The Trykers group has ridden that stretch in together for years, costumes and all, and it is one of the best things to see all day.

NorCal Trykers is the festival's beneficiary. What the festival raises builds custom adaptive tricycles for children who cannot ride an ordinary bike, and the riders on the Mini Parade are the reason the rest of us are out there at all.
