Community Park's family-friendly corner includes bounce houses, including a castle bounce house tied to the Zombie Kingdom Quest, plus rotating activities like the Primally Playful Foundation's foam-ball "Zombie Showdown," a Kids vs Parents battle that has doubled as a finale-adjacent activity in years when weather affected the skydiving jump.

Combined with the Halloween Train, the makeup station, and the shortest lines in the park most of the day, this is the area built for the festival's youngest guests and the parents keeping an eye on them.

What else is nearby

SwimAmerica's "Spooky Seas" and Explorit's Creepy Crawly Science both tend to draw the same younger crowd, and Zombie Headquarters, where families can pick up a Zombie Kingdom Quest sheet, sits close by. Between the train, the bounce houses and a handful of hands-on science and craft stations, it is possible to spend an entire visit in this one corner of the park without ever needing to walk the parade route.
