Every September, the Davis Chamber of Commerce throws its Oktoberfest social at First Northern Bank's downtown branch, and most years a few zombies find their way in looking for something good to eat.

Expect food from Tommy J's, beer and wine, live music and dessert. This one is a First Northern Bank event, not a Zombie Bike Parade Festival one, so consider us the messenger.

First Northern Bank has been in business since 1910, when it opened in Dixon as Northern Solano Bank, and its Davis branch brought the town its first ATM. It is one of only ten banks in California over a century old.
