Local illustrator & graphic designer Elijah Adorno captured our spooky beginnings in a fun two-page comic spread! Elijah is passionate about creating bold, creative visuals—and we’re thrilled to showcase his Davis-based work.

But where did the actual idea for Davis’ Zombie Bike Parade come from? The spark first ignited with Dave & Lea Rosenberg, who dreamed up a free community Halloween celebration that also raises funds for NorCal Trykers.
Soon after, Aaron Wedra gathered a small but mighty committee of Odd Fellows and local volunteers—helping shape that vision into the beloved Davis tradition we celebrate today.
