Newman Associates is a CPA firm right downtown at 508 Second Street, led by owner Andrew Newman. Since 1998 they have helped small businesses and individuals across Yolo County, Sacramento County and beyond with tax preparation, accounting, payroll, sales and property tax, and business strategy.
They are especially good with businesses that are just getting started or growing fast. That includes SBIR and federal grant accounting, which matters a lot in a town full of researchers and inventors turning ideas into companies.

Their vision is “vibrant local communities built on thriving businesses.” That is exactly what the Zombie Bike Parade Festival is about: a whole town in costume, local businesses out in the park, and the money raised going to NorCal Trykers, who build custom adaptive trikes for local kids with disabilities.
