A 360 degree photo booth sits in Community Park all afternoon. You stand in the middle, a camera swings around you, and you walk away with a short slow motion video of your costume in full effect. It is free, it takes about thirty seconds, and there is usually a queue of zombies waiting to overact.
Who runs it, and why we keep saying thank you
The booth is run by Action Flipbooks, one of the organizations that powers this festival, and they have been here since the very first ride in 2019. Every year they turn up, set up, and give away something people keep.
Matthew Strong is our Zombie Prime. Eight festivals, and not one of them without him. He also built this website, the one you are reading, which is not a small thing to hand a free community festival. Rick Furgison has been on the booth all eight years too. Lauren Hetrick roams the festival with a camera, and Lily Strong is, officially, our Director of Fun.
A fair number of the photographs on this site exist because of them, including a lot of the ones on the gallery pages. They come as a family, they stay all day, and it is genuinely one of the nicer parts of the year to see them arrive.
