The Zombie Ball
Not running in 2026. No replacement party is happening this year either.
The Zombie Ball is not running in 2026. The Odd Fellows could not staff it this year. A Friday night grown-up Halloween party is being planned to take its place, but it is not confirmed for 2026. The lodge Ball may come back in a future year.
The festival's grown-up Halloween night, 18 and up, with music, a costume showcase and proceeds benefiting Thriving Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What started as a scrappy downtown "Zombie Mash" street party in 2021 became its own ticketed event in 2024, when the first Zombie Ball sold out at the Odd Fellows Lodge. For 2026, rebranded as "Davis' Zombie Halloween Party," the night moves to Sudwerk Brewing.
Expect a DJ, a costume showcase, and past years have included a tarot reader, a spirit medium, FREE face painting and a Red Carpet photographer. Bohème Clothing & Gifts sponsors the night and supplies costume pieces for anyone who wants to upgrade their look before doors open.
Where it came from
The Ball's roots go back to 2021's downtown Zombie Mash, a much smaller street party thrown to give the skydiving crowd somewhere to go. By 2024, that idea grew into its own standalone ticketed night at the Odd Fellows Lodge, complete with DJ Duc Jones and a tarot reader, and it sold out so completely that organizers had to turn people away at the door. The 2025 edition added a full Red Carpet Costume Showcase with professional photography from Stimulate Photography, raising the production value again.
