Entertainment Stations
Twenty-five-plus stations at Community Park and Mace Ranch Park
Community Park fills with more than 25 entertainment stations by the 2026 festival, a mix of local performers, clubs and demonstrations that has grown almost every year since 2019. Regulars include Noise Violation, a 20-plus-piece "pirate-meets-Halloween" rally band; Davis Fencing Academy's "Zombie Swords & Lasers," led by Simon Pitfield; Citrus Circuits' "Rotting Robots"; Davis Rave Co.'s giant inflatable octopus DJ setup; and Bike City Theatre Company's recurring "Groana Lisa" performance piece.
Also expect zombies on stilts, SwimAmerica's "Spooky Seas," Explorit's Creepy Crawly Science, and the Community Park Bike Pump Track, which opened in 2023 through a partnership between Ken's Bike-Ski-Board and the Davis Bike Parks Alliance.
How the lineup grows
Almost none of these stations are generic Halloween vendors. Each one is a real Davis organization, a robotics team, a fencing school, a dance studio, a music store, that already existed before the festival asked it to set up a table. Organizers add one or two new attractions most years rather than replacing what already works, which is why a first-time visitor and a seven-year veteran can walk the same park and both find something they have never seen before.
Tips
- Pick up a Zombie Kingdom Quest sheet at Zombie Headquarters to turn a station walk into a scavenger hunt.
- No two years repeat the exact same lineup; check the current schedule for what is running this year.
- Stations are spread across the whole park, so budget extra time if you want to see all of them.
