The Zombie Mash Afterparty

The festival at Community Park finishes at 3pm and the downtown Trick-or-Treat Trail runs from 3 to 5pm, so here is where to eat. Go get pizza, a brew or a salad at Woodstock's Pizza on the G Street Pedestrian Corridor. Keep your costume on.

Woodstock's is putting the festival crowd out on the patio area and running a slice and drink station outside so everybody gets served faster. That is the whole plan this year, and we are deliberately underpromising it: no music, no discounts, no ticket, no cover. Just a good place to land with your group while the children work the Treat Trail.

Go get pizza, brew and salad

• Pizza by the slice or by the pie, hand tossed white or whole wheat, with a gluten free crust on large and a vegan cheese option.
• Salads made to order: Strawberry Fields, Greek, Chicken Caesar, Antipasto, Tree Hugger and more.
• Brews for the grown ups, with 24 taps, bottles, gluten free options and wine by the glass. Fountain sodas, brewed teas and lemonade for everyone else.
• Sandwiches and starters including the Aggie Club, Cheesy Wildebread, wings and loaded tots.
• Cinnabread for dessert, the same warm cinnamon treat they hand out free at the halfway point of the parade.

Woodstock's Pizza is a Zombie Bike Parade Festival sponsor, and every year they bring free Cinnabread samples out to Mace Ranch Park, the halfway point of the parade, where the BMX stunt show happens. Riders get a warm treat before they turn around and head back. Pointing the crowd their way afterwards is the least we can do.

Good to know

• 238 G Street, Davis. 530-757-2525. They open at 11am and stay open late on Saturdays.
• Everything is at the normal menu price. Nothing here is free or discounted, and it can get busy, so be kind to the staff.
• It is a short ride or walk from Community Park, and the pedestrian corridor gives you somewhere to park a bike.
• The Treat Trail is happening at the same time all around it, so you can do both.

How it started

The downtown afterparty began in 2021, to give the crowd leaving Community Park after the skydiving finale somewhere to go. It has moved around over the years, from Davis Commons to E Street Plaza to Steve’s Pizza, and it has been at Woodstock’s since 2025.
