Put a child on a bike
The festival is free, and always will be. What it raises goes to NorCal Trykers, who build custom tricycles for children who cannot ride an ordinary bike.
Where the money actually goes
Donations go straight to NorCal Trykers, not to us. They are the charity that builds the trykes, they hold the tax exemption, and they send the receipt. We never see your card details.
What a gift does
- $150 Helps a community group take part in the festival.
- $500 Powers one entertainment station for the whole day.
- $1,000 Covers most of a tryke for one child.
- $1,600 Buys a complete tryke, built and fitted to one child.
- $3,000 and up Several trykes, and helps us add a major attraction.
These are illustrations of what things cost, not a promise that your particular gift is spent on that particular item. NorCal Trykers decide how funds are used.
Tell us you gave
This is the bit that helps us most. NorCal Trykers do not tell us who came from the parade, so if you do not say, your gift is invisible to us. It takes ten seconds and it is how the festival knows what it is achieving.
Prefer to give another way? Email smartzgraphics@yahoo.com or call 530-574-7306 and we will sort it out. Businesses giving at a sponsorship level should look at becoming a sponsor instead, which comes with recognition at the event.
