The Veil is Thin in Davis… Sheila Allen is Stepping Through
The veil is thin in Davis, and one of our favorite community champions is stepping through: Sheila Allen! As Yolo County Supervisor for District 4 (sworn in January 2025), Sheila brings 30 years of public service spanning public health, education, and county government. When Your Roots Go Back to 1897… Even the Dead Take Notice
In the land of pedal-powered monsters, there’s one institution that helps resurrect local zombies every fall — the Davis Enterprise . This local paper has deep roots in town, and every year it plays a role in bringing the undead to life for the Zombie Bike Parade Festival. Over the decades it has witnessed and chronicled the transformations of Davis. We count the Davis Enterprise among our major media partners — and for good reason.
