The Veil is Thin in Davis… Sheila Allen is Stepping Through

The veil is thin in Davis, and one of our favorite community champions is stepping through: Sheila Allen! As Yolo County Supervisor for District 4 (sworn in January 2025), Sheila brings 30 years of public service spanning public health, education, and county government. She previously founded and led the Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance and served as Deputy Supervisor before being elected — a track record that’s kept Davis thriving long before the zombies took over town.

Sheila isn’t just a friend of the Zombie Bike Parade Festival — she’s one of us! As a proud member of the Davis Odd Fellows (our festival host), she loves backing this community tradition and our fundraiser for NorCal Trykers, who build custom tricycles for children with disabilities.
