You see a sight that almost stops your heart.
You try to scream,
but terror takes the sound before you make it.
You start to freeze,
as horror looks you right between your eyes.
You're paralyzed,
'cause this is thriller…
What do you get when you mix a giant gathering of zombies with a renowned local dance studio?
A Michael Jackson "Thriller" flash mob with family and friends!
You won’t want to miss the chance to be a part of this fun and frightening confluence of dancers and zombies on the morning of Sunday, October 20th at Davis’ first ever Zombie Bike Parade + picnic.
Put on by The Davis Odd Fellows and The Bike Campaign, and with the support of over thirty sponsors/collaborators, including Mirror Image Dance Company, the Zombie Bike Parade is expected to gather upwards of 500 attendees. Proceeds from the event will be donated to NorCal Trykers, whose mission is to create custom tricycles for children with special needs.
If you want to join the flash mob, you may want to get in the groove by practicing your dance moves, and Mirror Image Dance Company is prepared to help. Starting in October, you can check out their online “Thriller” tutorials on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and their website, or better yet, join their dance instructors on Saturday, October 12th from 1:30–2:30pm at 2121 2nd St. Ste. A-106 in Davis for a free hour long lesson.
