The Davis Firefighters have a new applicant pool… zombies!

They claim they’re “ready to serve,” but here are their actual qualifications:

• Afraid of fire (kind of a dealbreaker).

• Get distracted by sirens and loud noises.

• Show up to every call… but move at zombie speed.

• Strong teamwork skills… unless someone yells “brains,” then it’s chaos.

Luckily, we’ve got the real heroes — Davis Firefighters Local 3494! They’ve supported the Zombie Bike Parade Festival since the very beginning, and we’re beyond grateful to Matt Fix and his team for keeping Davis safe (and for kindly rejecting zombie job applications).
